As a children's librarian and parent, Anne is sensitive to the artistic elements that capture childrens' interest and imagination and keep them turning the pages or returning to the same book again and again. Her work is created not only with the pleasure of sharing a book as an individual or with a caregiver, but also with library and school programming in mind. Her illustrations are rich with details that will inspire questions, dialogue, and activities.

Anne's first book, "Old Abe: Eagle Hero," written by Patrick Young and published by Kane/Miller Book Publishers in 2010, received great reviews:
